Short version: we collect as little as we can get away with, we do not sell it, and you can have it deleted by sending one email.
Who we are
Bang Bang Herbal Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number to be confirmed, trading from the United Kingdom. Questions about anything on this page go to info@bangbangherbal.com. For data protection law we are the data controller for the information described here.
What we collect
- Order information. Your name, delivery address, email address and the contents of your order. Card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout page and are never seen by, or stored on, this website.
- Your email address, only if you give it. If you use the 10% off signup in the footer we keep your address so we can send you the code and occasional emails about the product. Every email has an unsubscribe link and it works.
- Basic analytics. Aggregate, privacy-friendly page statistics: pages viewed, rough country, referring site. No cross-site tracking, no advertising profiles.
Your basket is held in your own browser for the length of your visit and never reaches us until you check out.
Who processes it
- Stripe Payments UK, Ltd. Payments, order data, receipts and refunds. See Stripe's privacy policy for their handling.
- Cloudflare, Inc. Hosting and delivery of this website, plus standard security logs.
- Our email provider, if you signed up for the discount code.
- Our analytics provider, for the aggregate statistics above.
Nobody else. We do not sell or rent your details to anyone, ever.
Why we are allowed to
Orders are processed because we need to in order to perform the contract you entered into when you bought something. Marketing emails are sent on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Security logs and aggregate analytics rest on our legitimate interest in running a site that works and does not get attacked.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for six years because UK tax law requires it. Marketing email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Analytics data is aggregate and not tied to you.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@bangbangherbal.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not happy with how we handle it you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Your basket uses your browser's own session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab. Stripe sets the cookies it needs to run its checkout securely once you get there.
